A large print and digital media publisher was struggling with customer engagement having multiple separate systems managing their print and digital subscribers. They wanted to bring the customer experience into a single interface point to simplify the customer’s engagement.
Data Realm was brought in by the existing GSI implementing the new ecommerce system due to our experience with the ecommerce system being deployed and our subscription management experience.
Moving the project forward we deployed the new ecommerce system which took over new customer print and digital subscription products. This allowed the customer to deprecate the existing silo’d print and digital sites and provided them with a proper single view of the customer and their spend.
Customer satisfaction increased showing an increase in customers who would purchase both a print and digital subscription. They were now able to provide cross media promotions and simplified subscription management. Customer support costs were reduced by simplifying the number of systems with which CSR’s needed to interact to support a customer, and though increased self service options.
